Do you have a church or service group that would like to come to Pine Ridge and support local families towards a sustainable future?
Earth Tipi hosts groups up to 50 people on our sustainable homestead model site and education center, then matches your group with individuals and families who need extra hands to complete their projects. Our hope is that your group will form lasting connections and return year after year to help the same family attain their goals of sustainability and self-sufficiency. Projects run the gamete from housing building to gardening and property maintenance. A portion of your fees will go directly to materials for the project you will be working on, however, we ask that you do some additional fundraising to support your family in a more impactful way. Depending on your groups family matching and timing we may send a list of needed items if you would like to bring material goods to share.
Our current system allows you to schedule your trip based on your group preferences however, we can host no more than 50 individuals on the site at one time so make your reservations and send your deposit as early as possible to ensure you get your preferred dates.
Costs include rustic campsites in our beautiful meadow and three meals per day. Due to our goals to be as self sustaining as possible, we only have composting toilets on site. They are clean and much more hygienic then conventional porta potties. For larger groups or on request we can have porta potties rented during your stay.
Though we have a two day minimum, preference is given to groups who want to stay five or more days.
